Vienna Town Council To Bid Farewell To 2 Members
Two Town Council members had their last regular meeting before two new members will be sworn in at the start of 2026.

VIENNA, VA — At Monday's meeting, Vienna Town Council bid farewell to two councilmembers leaving their roles at the end of the year. Councilmember Ray Brill did not seek re-election, and Councilmember Sandra Allen was not re-elected.
Allen and Brill received framed photos of the Town Council during their last regular Town Council meeting.
Councilmember Ray Brill, who was first elected in 2020, is an Air Force veteran, who moved to Vienna in 2005 to become pastor at Wesley United Methodist Church and has served various volunteer causes. At the meeting, Brill said "it's a real honor and joy to serve" Vienna.

"If you think this town has become the wonderful town that it is without your participation, you're wrong," said Brill. "Volunteer, get involved, and when you do, the more you give, the more you receive."
Allen, who was elected in 2023, has been outspoken during her term, including at the last meeting. A Bolivia native, Allen moved to Vienna in 1999 and has been involved with various volunteer causes and committees, including PTAs, Vienna Pedestrian Advisory Committee and the Hunter Mill District Budget Committee.
