Why are you seeking this office?

I love Vienna and want to help shape it's future and keep it the best place to live.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidate(s) seeking this post?

I am running unopposed. However, I have a unique perspective, growing up in Vienna, teaching at my alma mater Madison High School, and always being active in the community.

What do you see as the top issues facing your locality, and how do you address them in your campaign platform?

Providing the best quality of life for all Vienna residents by keeping the following priorities in mind:
1.Safety - working with the police to ensure personal safety, and working with residents, council, and staff to provide vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle safety in town.
2. Health and Wellbeing - preserving our parks, providing ample recreation for all residents, and opposing a Tysons Casino.
A Pool and Fitness Center will provide residents of all ages and abilities a safe and affordable place to exercise, learn to swim, and take other health classes close to home.
3.Financial Stability - keeping the real estate tax as low as possible, supporting commercial entities, and assessing the needs and desires of residents while making responsible decisions for Vienna's future.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Vienna is rated as one of the top places in the US to live because of its safety, family friendly and community atmosphere, parks, events, sports programs, fitness and health, miles of sidewalks, and a vibrant downtown. These characteristics are attributed to many past councils, residents, town staff, and organizations. Under my leadership, the town has maintained and improved upon them.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I love my hometown and love meeting and helping residents. We are the best town because we work together as #OneVienna.
