Why are you seeking this office?

I hope to bring different perspective. I would like to create an environment of trust, transparency and commonsense decision making.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidate(s) seeking this post?

I am truly an independent Candidate not a politician. I am affected by decisions these body makes and the lack of representation at County level. We pay double taxes in Vienna, and we don't see matters improve for ourselves and for our children. We need to have elected officials that listen to constituents not just to pollical party ideology. There is so much work to be done, officials are missing to address everyday issues of residents.

What do you see as the top issues facing your locality, and how do you address them in your campaign platform?

Middle Class and young are being priced out of home market. Jobs are not catching up with standard of living. Officials are not making matter easier for senior, middle class and young. Consequently, many are migrating to other areas even abroad, some have lost their homes.

The growth that is happening the Town needs to address traffic issues faster. Commuter traffic is impacting road in neighborhoods as well as speed. Town Council don't want to install STOP Signs rather want to spend thousands of taxpayer dollars on structures that don't work or are costly to maintain.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have two years' experience as Councilmember. I came with few goals one making sure Vienna trash and debris are removed from our public areas. Bringing attention to social issues impact young at workplace and around Town with mental health issues. I know what it is to be a resident with concerns and not have those elected respond to those concerns. I have made effort to meet residents, business and talk to them on various issues on how I could assist them within my role as Councilmember. I hope to change the culture of Vienna. A culture where everyone is welcome not just few well connected and wealthy. I met residents with bullying issues and concerns of affordability.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a straightforward person. I don't like lip service and lies. I think much can be done to help improve the Town of Vienna when there is dialogue among residents and leaders. I have to share that I left the Democratic Party. I did not support division and hate that was happening. I was a Bernie Delegate and a Tulsi Delegate for the Democratic Party. I was one of the working bees that got stung hard. I hope our Vienna residents recognize my work and my dedication. I don't think other elected officials have walk around Town and met residents where they live. I come willing and able to work with anyone as long as they are sincere with their intentions. I started my first year inviting new officials to listen to constituents' concerns. I am here to represent the Voices of Vienna Residents including myself and other like me.

I have walked around the Town of Vienna and receive good feedback, welcoming but also received unfriendly remarks. People tend to make wrong assumptions about me, because I look Hispanic. It is important to remove the stigma being made, that is why I don't support or participate in protest. We as elected leaders must do our job to govern. We must spend less time on divisiveness and more time in bring our communities together. That is why my mother brought us to US. To have the Freedom Justice and Equality that our birth nations fail to provide to us. There should not be fear of governments in USA.

The civic engagement being sold has become very dangerous for this vulnerable young generation. They should be enjoying their youth and learning about the world in a positive manner. Not what is happening today, it is abnormal to see the number of young people committing this level of violence. It is our responsibility as leaders to help change the narrative and protect our future generation. We must find out what is causing Mental Health crisis.

I am INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE; I welcome different perspective I like to take a moderate approach to many issues in our community. We must learn to live and respect one another. LOVE ourselves and others as God fearing people.
