Armed Robbery Reported at Leesburg Pike Gas Station: Police

Police say the two suspects were wearing masks when they robbed the station around 3 a.m. Sunday.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police reported Thursday that a local gas station was robbed this week.

The armed robbery took place early Sunday just before 3 a.m. at a station in the 8000 block of Leesburg Pike (see map below). Two men entered the gas station, displayed handguns and demanded money, according to police. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise, and fled. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and did not require medical treatment.

Both suspects were described as black, about 6 feet tall, and approximately 150 to 180 pounds. The first suspect was wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black shoes. The second suspect was wearing a black mask, silver hooded sweatshirt, khaki cargo style pants, and white low top shoes.
