Bike/Walk Challenge Day Three: 1,256 Biked, Scooted and Walked
The sunny weather helped bring out the largest numbers so far this week.
The third day of Vienna's Bike/Walk challenge Wednesday brought the week's first full morning of sunny skies, which likely helped set a new single-day record of 1,256 students from five elementary schools walking, biking or scootering to class.

Marshall Road Elementary and Vienna Elementary School logged the highest numbers of bikers on Wednesday. VES PE teacher Jon Sidilau biked in with nine students from southwest Vienna on the bike train led by PTA President Kathy Clark.
