Caboose Tavern Celebrates 10th Anniversary

VIENNA, VA — Caboose Tavern, the Vienna locally owned and operated micro brewery located near the W&OD trail will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Sunday, May 4.

The venue opened its doors on May 5, 2015, according to a news release.

Customers can stop by after 10 a.m. Sunday for activities including cake all day, free 10-year stickers, games of cornhole, and the release of a new beer.

Vienna Signing Princesses will offer face painting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. the local band Generous Dennis will perform.

A meet and greet with owners Jennifer McLauglin and Matt Greer will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Caboose Tavern is located at 520 Mill St. in Vienna.

Business hours are: Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Caboose Tavern is open at 8 a.m. on holiday Mondays.

Menu favorites include seasonal offerings, plus the tuna poke, a grains and green bowl, and a reuben sandwich.

The business also has a Fairfax location at 2918 Eskridge Road.

The McLaughlin and Greer families opened Caboose Brewing Company & Tavern in Vienna.
The name comes from the historic red caboose in Vienna, as well as the W&OD railroad line that winds through the picturesque town.
