Crash With Injuries Causes Road Closure In Oakton: Police
Fairfax County police closed northbound Hunter Mill Road Friday afternoon following a vehicle crashing into a utility pole.
OAKTON, VA — Northbound Hunter Mills Road between Lawyers and Wickens Road was closed Friday afternoon, as Fairfax County police investigated a single-vehicle crash with injuries, according to a 3:16 p.m. post on the department's X account.
The vehicle had crashed into a utility pole and the driver, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternate routes while crews make repairs to the pole.
