Pack 152 from Vienna’s Wesley United Methodist Church held its Blue and Gold Dinner last Sunday, signifying the boys' move from cub scouts to boy scouts.
Outgoing CubMaster Ike B. thanked Pack 152 and its members for a wonderful two years as sher remembered events such as annual ski trips, campouts on historical ships and campouts around the area and blessings of having a wonderful group of boys to watch grow and become young men. She passed the mantle with words of encouragement to the new CubMaster Scott T.
The main event of the evening was the awarding of Cub Scouting’s highest honor. The Arrow of Light was presented to six fine young men as they completed their Cub Scout journey and commence toward their Boy Scout journey. Daniel A., Max B., Ben P., Jaehoon S., Ryan T., Holden T., all received
their Arrow of light in the presence of their parents and friends. These young men proceed to their respective Boy Scout troops to continue their scouting journey.
With all the excitement we presented our Pinewood Derby awards to our winners, Tigers – Tiaki S., Wolf –Riley S., Bear – Sean B., Web I – Jake H., Web II – Ben P.
Awards presented to Adult Leaders Den Leader Awards went out to Tiger Den Leader Elaine C., Wolf Den Leader Rick W., Bear Den Leader Marion S., Web I Den Leader Darleen H. CubMaster Ike B. received the Cub Master Award as well as The Unit Leader of Merit Award. Committee Members Mark S. and Jeff B.
both received the Cub ScoutAward.
