VIENNA, VA — Following the closure of Don Pollo of Vienna, a new Peruvian restaurant has filled its space.

Cuco's Peruvian is open at the Vienna Shopping Center, 146 Maple Ave W, Vienna, VA. The soft opening day was April 30. Diners can order Peruvian chicken by the quarter, half or whole plus sides like Salchipapa (Peruvian style fries with half smoke and Papa Rellena (stuffed potato with Peruvian beef filling).

According to FFX Now, Peruvian native Claudia Clayman owns the restaurant with her husband, Madison High School graduate Keelan Thompson. Thompson is a chef who first worked at Maple Ave Restaurant under its previous ownership. The owners say Ricardo Guisse of Studio Guisse served as architect and designer, and MasPaz and Basta Studios created a mural for the space.
