Donate Your Halloween Candy in Vienna to a Soldier
Make a soldier's day with a sweet treat.
Editor's Note: The Town of Vienna is no longer a drop-off location for the Candy for Veterans program.
VIENNA, VA -- A little bit of candy can go a long way to making one’s day a little better, particularly if you’re a soldier serving overseas. If you're looking at leftover Halloween candy, here's a good cause.
The Town of Vienna is participating in Operation Gratitude’s Halloween Candy Program, through which donated candy is sent to troops serving overseas. All goodies must be donated by Nov. 11, 2016. You can drop off candy at Club Phoenix in the Parks and Recreation Department’s temporary headquarters at 262M Cedar Lane from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
