The title has been a long time coming for the simple (and cheap!) meal: It's been nominated more than any other dish in the series. (And, if you stop someone on the street to ask them what dish says "Vienna," the dog is almost always the first or second thing to come out of their mouth).
Readers , but the field when voting began. Natta Thai's Shrimp and Basil took an early lead, but someone (or the Force Of The Famous Dog) awakened the dish's fans to put the Chili Dog ahead for good. It finished with 63 percent of the vote.

As a reminder:

- Each Wednesday, we'll open those nominations for voting.
- By Friday, the winning dish will be announced.
- Tune in the following Monday to nominate another.
And the rules:
- The dish must be from a local restaurant (No chains).
- The dish must be under $20.
- You must name a specific dish, not just the name of a restaurant.
- A dish cannot "win" more than once, but it can be nominated as many times as it takes for it to win.
