Fairfax County Police Log: Sept. 6-12

A summary of the latest Vienna incidents, arrests reported

Fairfax County Police logged the following incidents in the Vienna area during the week ending Sept. 12:

  • Larceny: 2200 block of Gallows Road, bullet proof vest from vehicle
  • Larceny: 8000 Ilif Drive, cash from business

Animal Control Division — Countywide

Maltreat Animal: 12700 block of Pinecrest Road, 9/6/12, 6 p.m. A resident captured a dog running at large. They were concerned for the welfare of the Cocker Spaniel, so Animal Control officers responded. The owner, Jennifer Taylor, 44, was located and charged with unlicensed dog, dog running at large and inadequate care.

Running At Large: 6800 block of Dina Leigh Court, 9/11/12, 1:30 p.m. Animal Control officers were called for a small dog running at large. The dog ran home before officers arrived. Filomena Umayam, 59, of Springfield, was charged with unlicensed dog.
