Fairfax County Police Plan Sobriety Checkpoint Saturday for Fair Oaks Police District
District includes area surrounding Town of Vienna. Checkpoint will take place Saturday night.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint Saturday night in the Fair Oaks Police District, which includes areas surrounding the Town of Vienna. Police do not give the exact location of a sobriety checkpoint beforehand.
Sobriety checkpoints are one tool police officers use to be sure drivers aren’t drinking alcohol and getting behind the wheel.
The Fair Oaks Police District includes Chantilly, Fairfax, Herndon, Oakton, Oak Hill and Vienna areas of Fairfax County. See a map of the district here.

The sobriety checkpoint is scheduled for Saturday night beginning at 11 a.m. through Sunday at 2 a.m., police said.
