Gymnastics: Nee Takes First in All-Around Competition

Madison High School's Evelyn Nee earned first place in the all-around competition at Wednesday's meet at Oakton High School.

Nee placed in all three events: She took first on beam and second in the vault and floor competitions. The bar event was canceled for all gymnasts because of difficulties with the equipment.

Nee and her Warhawks squad took third place as a team. Lee and Oakton high schools placed first and second, respectively.

The schools also competed against Annandale, Langley and Hayfield on Wednesday.
