Church Street Holiday Stroll, Holiday Tree Lightings: See Events Around Vienna

VIENNA, VA — While Thanksgiving serves as the kickoff to the holiday season, it falls on a later date this year on Thursday, Nov. 28. That means numerous Christmas tree lightings will happen even before the Thanksgiving holiday, and more will follow in early December.

There are plentiful tree lightings in and around Vienna if you want to get in the holiday spirit. The highlight in the Town of Vienna, is the Church Street Holiday Stroll with live holiday music, tree lighting, Santa arriving on an antique fire truck and more. This year's event falls on Monday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.

Nov. 15: Tysons Corner Center Holiday Kick-Off Celebration, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Nov. 29: Reston Town Center Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting, 11 a.m. parade, 6 p.m. tree lighting

Nov. 29: Mosaic District Holiday Tree Lighting and Santa Firetruck Parade, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Dec. 1: Great Falls Celebration of Light, 5 p.m.

Dec. 2: Church Street Holiday Stroll, 6 p.m.

Dec. 7: City of Fairfax Festival of Lights and Carols with Tree Lighting, 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 7: Herndon Holiday Tree Lighting and Sing-Along, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
