Jammin’ Java Welcomes JMHS Jazz Ensemble

The James Madison High School Jazz Ensemble will return to Jammin' Java for its annual concert on May 30 in Vienna.

From Jammin' Java: The James Madison High School Jazz Ensemble returns to Jammin’ Java for its annual concert:

  • 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 30
  • Jammin’ Java, 227 Maple Ave East, Vienna
  • Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and a full dinner and drink menu will be available.

The JMHS Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Michael Hackbarth, performs a variety of jazz styles; big band, swing, Latin, funk – to name a few. The Jazz Ensemble musicians are Junior and Senior students at James Madison High School in Vienna, VA.

Ticket prices are $10 for students and $15 for adults, and may be purchased online here.

Their appearance at Jammin’ Java is a highly anticipated annual concert. The Jazz Ensemble has also performed at Vienna’s Town Green, the Vienna Turkey Trot, as well as multiple concerts at JMHS.
