Eating Competition With Cake Weighing Kilogram Planned During Taste Of Vienna
Contestants at Taste of Vienna will be challenged to finish Carnegie Diner & Cafe's 24-layer cake to win a prize worth $1,500.

VIENNA, VA — At this year's Taste of Vienna, a few attendees have the chance to get more than a taste of one restaurant's food.
Carnegie Diner & Café announced it will host its inaugural OMG 24-Layer Cake Competition at Taste of Vienna on Saturday, April 26 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department-run Taste of Vienna will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in its parking lot.
The eating competition challenges contestants to finish Carnegie Diner & Café's massive one-kilogram slice of the 24-layer OMG Chocolate Cake. To put that in perspective, a kilogram equates to about 2.2 pounds.
