Madison Homecoming Parade 2023 To Prompt Road Closure On Maple Avenue
Vienna residents can come cheer on the Madison Warhawks for homecoming, which will result in a temporary road closure.
VIENNA, VA — It's homecoming night for Madison High School's Warhawks football team, preceded by a parade with a road closure Friday.
Madison's varsity football team will take on South County High School at 7 p.m. Friday in the homecoming game. But first, the Warhawks will parade through Maple Avenue in a homecoming parade.
The homecoming parade will happen at 2 p.m., closing westbound Maple Avenue for about 30 minutes between Mill Street and James Madison Drive. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes or come to cheer on the Warhawks.

Madison students have early release at 12:55 p.m. on Friday. A homecoming dance will follow Friday's game at 8 p.m. Saturday.
So far, the Warhawks varsity football team is undefeated in the first five games.
