Vienna Arts Society artists painted benches that will be auctioned off at an event in November.

There will be 40 benches up for auction. The benches were made by Vienna resident Ralph Reinecke and were painted by Vienna Arts Society artists.

"'Take a Seat Vienna Returns' began eighteen months ago with Ralph Reinecke, a Vienna fine furniture maker, hand building each cypress bench to be painted by a member of VAS," the Vienna Arts Society said in a news release. "Last spring Vienna local businesses and groups who sponsored a bench were displaying these beautiful works of art around town."
