Police Log: Six Cited For Marijuana Violations
The following arrest information was supplied by the Vienna Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Six people, most of them teens, were issued summons for marijuana violations last week after police found them inside two vehicles sitting along Park Street SE.
Police noticed the vehicles at 11:06 p.m. in the 100 block of Park Street SE. Upon interaction with the occupants of the vehicles, police detected the odor of suspected marijuana.
Further investigation by police confirmed the presence of marijuana.
The following people were arrested as a result of the investigation.

- Andrew David Kozusko, 20, of Vienna, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released.
- Paul Taylor Samuel Vogelzang, 19, of California was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released.
- A 17-year-old juvenile was released to a parent and a petition for possession of marijuana will be obtained.
- Alicia Laning Leberre, 19, of Herndon, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released.
- Anton Gregory Crocker, 18, of Annandale, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released.
- Mustafa S. Ahmed, 18, of Herndon, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and released.
Other Highlights from the Vienna Police Log, June 1 to June 7:
- During a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. June 2, police noticed the driver showed signs of possible impairment. After attempting to complete several field sobriety tests, Anusorn Charnrissuragul, 31, of Fairfax, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Charnrissuragul was taken to Vienna Police Headquarters for breath analysis and then to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
- A resident reported his estranged wife had left their four-year-old son in the care of the child's 17-year-old-brother at 11:13 a.m. June 2 on Cedar Lane. There were no charges filed in the incident.
- A resident reported at noon June 2 his neighbor on Casmar Street had dug up a corrugated pipe connected to the downspout. The neighbor felt the water from the pipe would build up under his foundation causing damage. The resident did not wish to pursue charges.
- A citizen reported at 12:50 p.m. June 2 someone was soliciting pest control services near Shady Drive SE. Police located the solicitor and issued Stephen Marc Lucas, 22, of Texas a summons for soliciting without a town permit. He was released after signing it.
- A man reported while he was getting gas at 7:43 p.m. June 2 at the James Madison Shell Station, 545 Maple Avenue NW, someone known to the man approached his vehicle and forcibly took a pack of cigarettes from him. He
then fled the area. Officer Kiley later located the subject, indentified as Abdel Hamid Ouardi, 20, of Herndon, in the area of Maple Avenue and Park Street, SE. Ouardi was arrested for the robbery and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. Ouardi was also found to be in possession of marijuana and alcohol. A warrant for possession of both substances was issued. Ouardi was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and a warrant for possession of marijuana was issued. - The owner of Partymania, 129 Maple Avenue W, reported someone had thrown a rock through the window of the business between 10:30 p.m. June 2 and 9:50 am. June 3.
- During a traffic stop at 12:33 a.m. June 3 at Maple Avenue and East Street NE, police suspected the driver might be impaired. After attempting to complete several field sobriety tests, Susan Mckiernan Low, 56, of Vienna was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Mckiernan was taken to Vienna Police Headquarters for breath analysis and then the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
- Police encountered a teen at 2:08 a.m. June 3 at Center and Locust Streets SW who appeared to be in need of medical attention. After speaking with the girl, police determined the 16-year-old was intoxicated. The juvenile was released to a parent, and a petition for possession of alcohol will be obtained.
- A resident reported between 11 a.m. June 3 and 12:05 a.m. June 4, the left rear window of her vehicle had been broken. Nothing in the vehicle was taken.
- Police saw a man walking at 11:31 p.m. June 3 on Patrick Street SE, drinking from a bottle of Corona Beer. Police issued a summons to Alex Osellano, 39, of Vienna for drinking in public. Osellano was released. after signing it.
- A citizen reported at 10:07 p.m. June 4 a man was walking through the parking lot of the Giant Food Store, 359 Maple Avenue SE, attempting to get into a vehicle that did not belong to him. Police found the man. Further investigation revealed that Kevin Cory Bean, 54, of Vienna, was intoxicated. He was arrested for drunk in public and taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
- A citizen reported at 11:26 p.m. June 4 he had received numerous harassing telephone calls from a person who was unsatisfied with a business transaction they had made. This case is still being investigated.
- A resident reported that between 11:08 p.m. June 5 and 11:06 p.m. June 6, her mother had changed the locks on the door of their home at Tapawingo Road, denying her access to the residence. The mother reported that the daughter had struck her with a pillow on the back of the
head. - Police advised the mother she would have to follow the proper eviction process if she wanted to permanently remove her daughter from the residence. They also advised her of the warrant obtainment process for the pillow assault.
- A citizen reported at 12:07 a.m. June 6 a woman appeared to be trying to open doors of businesses along Church Street. Police responded to the location and found a woman in the area. After speaking with her, officers located an open door to the building. One officer returned to his vehicle and found the woman smoking a cigarette in the back seat of his police vehicle. When questioned about the cigarette she replied, “ I don’t see a no smoking sign." She was advised to put the cigarette out and leave the area. No charges were filed against the woman.
- A citizen reported seeing a vehicle being driven at 7:54 a.m. June 6 along Tapawingo Road with a female lying across the hood. The citizen reported the driver and the women appeared to be having an argument. Police located the woman who had been riding on the hood. She stated that she has been having an ongoing dispute with her sister and mother. The driver of the vehicle, Victoria Smith, 24, of Vienna was arrested for reckless driving. She was released after signing the summons.
- A citizen reported as she entered the parking lot of Vienna Presbyterian Church at 10:34 a.m. June 6 an unknown male began yelling at her. She stated he might have been upset about her driving behavior.
- A woman reported at 3:37 p.m. June 6 she was afraid her son and a former friend of his were going to get into a fight at the residence on Malcolm Road NW. Police spoke to both subjects, who agreed never to speak to each other again.
- An employee reported at 10:18 p.m. June 6 customer in a champagne colored Honda Accord drove off without paying for the gasoline they had pumped at James Madison Shell, 545 Maple Avenue NW. The employee was unable to provide the license plate information on the vehicle.
- Police observed a man staggering at 11:10 p.m. June 6 from the rear of the Cedar Lane Shopping Center towards the Cedar Lane Apartments. The man then stopped to urinate on a tree. Police approached the man and discovered he was intoxicated. Oscar Sanchez Hernandez, 42, of Vienna was arrested for drunk in public. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
