Police Seek Man Who Offered Teen Ride On W&OD
Fifteen-year-old girl said stranger followed her, commented on clothing as she walked home

Vienna Police are looking for a man they say followed a teenager along the , trying to give her a ride home but leaving after the girl refused the offer.
A 15-year-old girl was walking home from school around 4:20 p.m. March 7 when a man she didn't know approached her on the W&OD Trail behind Vienna Elementary School. She told police the man spoke to her, engaging her in casual conversation as he followed her. He spoke about her clothing before offering her a ride, she said. The girl refused and kept walking.
The man eventually got into a white, four-door vehicle in the Community Center parking lot and drove away.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’ 9” tall, medium build, in his 40’s, with short brown hair and a tan complexion. He was wearing sunglasses and a blue and white striped button down shirt with khaki pants.
