Purses Stolen From Occupied Homes

Vienna police are investigating two purse burglaries from homes in Northeast Vienna that appear to have occurred while their owners were in the houses.

A resident of Manor Drive NE reported March 21 that sometime between 6 and 9:30 p.m., someone had entered her home and stolen her purse and its contents, apparently while she was home.

At 9:20 p.m. the same night, a resident of Country Club Drive NE reported she and her friends were playing cards in the living room area of her house when a man entered the home and stole her purse and the contents. The purse was visible from the street through an open front door.

Police continue to investigate both cases.
