Scoreboard: Marshall Lacrosse Opens With A Win

The Marshall Girls Lacrosse team opened their season Wednesday night with an 18-7 win against the Washington and Lee Generals.

Though coming off their best season in school history, the Statesmen got off to a slow start against the Generals, down 0-3. Once they got in their groove, though, they rattled in four consecutive goals and never looked back.

By halftime, Marshall took an 8 - 4 lead and scored 10 goals in the next half, winning 18-7.

Eight different Marshall players scored goals and goalie Meredith Crizer tallied 11 saves on the night.
