Fairfax County Police say the suspect is a teen from the Vienna area.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A suspect has been arrested in the groping of a child Saturday at the Target store in the Mosaic District in Merrifield, Fairfax County Police announced Thursday.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Division, Sex Crimes Squad, received an anonymous tip through Fairfax County Crime Solvers, identifying a possible suspect in the assault that occurred at the Target store on Saturday, June 18.
In addition, a Fairfax County police officer, not involved in this case, saw the photographs of the suspect and recognized a logo on his shirt. With that information and other investigative leads, detectives were able to identify the suspect as Brendon Jennings Cordova, 19, of Vienna.
