New this year is an eating competition hosted by Carnegie Diner & Café from 1:55 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. The OMG 24-Layer Cake Competition challenges contestants to finish Carnegie Diner & Café's massive one-kilogram slice of the 24-layer OMG Chocolate Cake. To put that in perspective, a kilogram equates to about 2.2 pounds.

Carnegie Diner & Café received over 80 applications and is choosing 10 to be final contestants. The first person to finish the entire slice of cake will be named the winner. The grand prize is a $1000 Carnegie & Café gift card, a $500 cash check, a giant check for photo ops, and blue "Champion 2025" T-shirt. Other winners will get a gold T-shirt, and all participants will receive event shirts.

Live performances will be held throughout the day. Children can enjoy a moon bounce and family activities. There is also a chance to meet and chat with first responders.

Taste of Vienna kicks off a busy weekend for the town, as Walk on the Hill will be held Sunday.
