UPDATE: Vienna to Hold 2 Easter Egg Hunts

Tickets are on sale for a "flashlight" egg hunt March 18; there will also be a free Easter egg hunt March 19.

VIENNA, VA -- Tickets for a Family Flashlight Egg Hunt in Vienna’s Glyndon Park are on sale Monday for Town residents, according to the Town of Vienna.

The sale opens to outside residents Tuesday for the Easter egg hunt, scheduled for Friday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. The 11-acre park is located at 300 Glyndon St. NE.

Participants will search the park for eggs and prizes and are asked to please bring a flashlight. A moon bounce will also be a part of the fun and the Easter Bunny will be on hand starting at 7 pm. The hunt will begin at dark.

Tickets

Tickets are $3 per family member; there is a limit of six tickets per family. Go to http://bit.ly/1Z3aHzl and click on “Event Calendar” under Search in the top green bar to purchase tickets online. You can also purchase tickets in person at 262-M Cedar Lane SE, Unit #4.

The Town of Vienna’s Parks and Recreation Department will host a second egg hunt Saturday, March 19. The Old-Fashioned Egg Roll is set from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on the lawn of the Freeman House, 131 Church Street S. Hosted by Historic Vienna, Inc. as well as the Town of Vienna, this free event is for children 12 and younger.

The Easter Bunny will appear at both events, so make sure to bring your camera and smiles for a “hoppy” weekend. These events are rain or shine.
