Town of Vienna Kicks Off Social Media Competition

VIENNA, VA -- Like to post photos of your favorite dish at one of Vienna's restaurants? Or snap a pic of that great band you're listening to? Or let others know about a fabulous find at a Town boutique?

You can now add a hashtag to your tweets this summer to help the Town of Vienna and its businesses get the word out.

Vienna’s Town/Business Liaison Committee (TBLC) is inviting Vienna residents and visitors to explore the Town’s variety of businesses and activities this summer. It’s an opportunity to discover treasures in the community – and to win prizes.

This friendly social media competition encourages participants to post pictures of themselves having fun exploring Vienna with the hashtag #DiscoverViennaVA on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Random winners will be selected from among those making #DiscoverViennaVA posts.

Over the next few months, here are the themes for the TBLC invites you to post about, using #DiscoverViennaVA:

• July: Food
• August: Entertainment
• September: Shopping
