Traffic Advisory: Sewer Main Cleaning Sunday in Vienna

VIENNA, VA -- Town crews will conduct regular cleaning of the sewer main along Maple Avenue, from Beulah Road to Nutley Street, Sunday from 7 a.m. - noon, the Town announced Friday afternoon. Crews will be moving from manhole to manhole along Maple; traffic will be allowed to move through the work zones, but may be slightly delayed.

No disruptions to water and sewer services are anticipated. Periodic cleaning of sewer mains is necessary to ensure that grease and other solids do not build up and cause sewer backups or overflows.
