Wife Charged with Murder in Vienna Area

Eric John LaRocque, 33, was found dead July 31, 2015 at his home on Midlothian Court in the Vienna area of Fairfax County.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- The wife of a July 2015 Vienna area homicide victim has been charged with Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Fairfax County Police said Tuesday.

Kimhoang Pham LaRocque, 35, was charged in the homicide Monday night and was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond, police said.

Eric John LaRocque, 33, was killed in July 2015 at his home at 1822 Midlothian Court.

His death was one of 13 homicides reported in Fairfax County in 2015. Of those cases, 10 were closed by arrest, one was closed when the offender died. There have been six homicides in Fairfax County in 2016. To date, three of those cases have been closed by arrest, police noted.
