Vienna Area Residents Face Drug, Gun Charges: Police
Fairfax County made a traffic stop late Sunday night in the West Falls Church area; the two people in the car now face drug, gun charges.
VIENNA, VA -- Fairfax County Police say that two Vienna area residents are facing drug and gun charges after a traffic stop late Sunday night in the West Falls Church area of the county.
Police say that Sunday just after 11:30 p.m., an officer patroling the area stopped a 1999 Honda Accord at Annandale Road and Arlington Boulevard (see map below) for a traffic violation. The investigation revealed the driver and passenger were allegedly in possession of drugs and a gun, police said.
The driver, Kelly McKenzie, 25, and the passenger, William Barlett, 32, both of the Vienna area, were arrested and transported to jail, police said.

Police say McKenzie was charged with possession of a Schedule I or II drug, possession of a gun with a schedule I or II drug and two counts of possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I or II drug.
Bartlett was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a nonviolent felon and two counts each of possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I or II drug and possession of a gun with a schedule I or II drug, according to police.
