Vienna November 2025 Election Voter Guide: Candidates, How To Vote
Vienna voters will cast ballots for local and state races and decide bond questions. Here's what voters need to know.

VIENNA, VA — On Tuesday, voters in the Town of Vienna will cast their ballots in the November general election for state and local races. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. across Virginia on Tuesday.
All Town of Vienna voters will have mayor and the six other Vienna Town Council seats on the ballot, as well as governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, and Virginia House of Delegates 12th District. It also includes a Fairfax County bond questions on public school projects.
In the governor's race, Democrat Abigail Spanberger and Republican Winsome Earle-Sears are running. Democrat Ghazala Hashmi and Republican John Reid are running for lieutenant governor, and Democrat Jay Jones and Republican incumbent Jason Miyares are running for attorney general.

In Virginia House of Delegates 12th District, Democratic Del. Holly Seibold faces Republican Nelson Figueroa-Velez.
There are seven candidates for six Vienna Town Council seats — incumbents Sandra Allen, Church Anderson, Roy Baldwin, Jessica Ramakis and Howard Springsteen, as well as newcomers Doug Francis and Dan Nash. Councilmember Ray Brill is not seeking re-election. Vienna Mayor Linda Colbert is unopposed in her re-election bid.

How to Vote
The deadline for voter registration or updating your information was Oct. 24. However, same-day registration available in Virginia beyond the registration deadline allows voters to cast a provisional ballot. Check your registration status through the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal.
To vote on Election Day, head to your assigned polling place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Use the Virginia Department of Elections citizen portal to find your polling place. An acceptable form of ID is required to vote in person.
The Fairfax County Office of Elections says people with disabilities or mobility issues can vote curbside. Voters can look for the accessible parking area with a phone number to call at the polling place, and an election worker will assist.
Some voters already cast ballots through early voting or mail-in ballots. The deadline to return a mail ballot is 7 p.m. on Nov. 4. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4 and received by noon on the Friday following the election. Completed mail-in ballots can be turned in at drop boxes at any Fairfax County early voting location, when they are open, and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any polling place on Election Day.
