Vienna’s Anne Davis; Team ‘Rudy’s Friends’ Walking in DogFest DC

Benefiting Canine Companions for Independence - "It just makes sense"

Vienna, VA: When asked why she decided to get involved with DogFest DC, Anne Davis of Vienna said, “It just made sense to see what I could do.” As a long-time volunteer for Canine Companions for Independence, Anne is well-aware of Canine Companions’ fundraising needs, and was one of the first to sign up and create a fundraising team.

With a goal of $2,500, Anne is reaching out to friends and family to ask them to support the organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to children, adults and veterans with disabilities free of charge. From opening and close doors to picking up dropped items, these dogs enhance every aspect of their partners lives.

In addition to being one of the top fundraisers for Canine Companions DogFest, Anne Davis is the owner of Rudy’s Friends Dog Training, Inc. in Vienna. Anne volunteers to train Canine Companions pups twice a
month since 2010 and never charges for her classes. She's helped train
over 1,100 Canine Companions puppies! Anne won an award from the Town
of Vienna for Volunteerism for her work with Canine Companions in 2017.
