Water Projects to Divert Traffic in Vienna Starting Thursday

VIENNA, VA -- The Town of Vienna will install two water valves beginning Thursday through Monday, Oct. 17, the Town said Wednesday. While water service is NOT expected to be interrupted, traffic will be redirected as follows:

• Park Street (between Church and Maple) will be closed to through traffic during a part of workdays; work will be undertaken at this location in the mornings to avoid the heavy afternoon commute. Mill and Glyndon streets may be used as detours.

• The intersection at Niblick Drive and Echols Street will remain open while work takes place there.

Both work locations will be secured in the evenings and over the weekend to allow for full traffic circulation.
