Aging sewer and water systems are on the agenda for Monday night's quarterly meeting of the Brookville-Seminary Valley Civic Association. At 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Beatley Library, the meeting will include a presentation of the <a href="http://www.alexandriava.gov/tes/info/default.aspx?id=51410" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">City of Alexandria's Sanitary Sewer Master Plan</a>. The BSVCA neighborhoods have had at least two water main and sewer issues in January requiring street repairs and a few homes off of Taney Avenue had sewer backups Christmas Eve. The meeting will also feature brief updates from the <a href="http://www.alexandriava.gov/beauregardplan" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Beauregard Rezoning Area Group</a> and updates from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
