City Hosts Meetings on Housing Plan

Evening meetings will be held in January and February.

The City of Alexandria is hosting two town-hall public meetings on its Draft Housing Master Plan in January and February.

"Alexandria's Housing Master Plan is intended to guide future preservation and enhancement of affordable housing opportunities, community diversity, and economic sustainability in Alexandria," according to the city's website. More information about the Housing Master Plan is available at www.alexandriava.gov/HousingPlan

Community meetings to discuss the draft plan, which was released in November, will be Jan. 24 at Samuel Tucker Elementary School and Feb. 11 at Jefferson-Houston School. Both meetings are scheduled to run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
