Clover-College Park Neighborhood Retains Small-Town Feel
Gerald Ford lived in the Alexandria neighborhood for 10 days as president.

The Washington Post recently featured an article on Alexandria’s Clover-College Park neighborhood, where Gerald Ford lived for 10 days as president.
Ford also lived in the neighborhood as a congressman and vice president. Though close to many of the busier spots in Alexandria, the neighborhood has retained a small-town charm.
The neighborhood is located south of Janneys Lane, north of Duke Street and directly across from Douglas MacArthur Elementary School.
