Dominion Power Crews Help with Northeast Blizzard Power Outages
More than 600,000 people across the Northeast were without power following a blizzard that dumped more than three feet of snow in many areas.
Dominion Virginia Power crews went to New Jersey this weekend to help restore power to those who are in the cold and dark following Friday and Saturday’s major Northeast blizzard.

Crews from Virginia left Friday morning in bucket trucks headed for Morristown, N.J. — an area hit hard by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Morristown was not hit nearly as hard as areas of New England, and New Jersey Power and Light sent the Virginia crews back home late Saturday.
