Jersey Mike's Subs Opening On Alexandria's Duke Street

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Jersey Mike's Sub, an expanding franchise offering hot and cold subs, will open a new Alexandria location Wednesday.

The location at 3219 Duke Street will hold a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday through Sunday. The new location is led by franchise owner Pat Foley. The location joins a location on S. Pickett Street in Alexandria that opened in 2021.

The grand opening fundraiser will support One Love Foundation, which seeks to educate young people about abusive and violent relationships in memory of University of Virginia student Yeardley Love.

Customers who received a fundraising coupon that was distributed before the opening can contribute to the fundraiser. With the coupon, customers can donate a minimum of $3 in store to One Love Foundation to receive a regular sub. The coupon works for in-person orders but not online, app or third party orders.

Fundraisers are a regular occurrence at the Jersey Mike's locations. Jersey Mike's locations participate in the Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving. This year, the Month of Giving raised $20 million for the Special Olympics USA Games, including through a Day of Giving with 100 percent of proceeds donated at participating locations. Locations have raised nearly $90 million for local charities since 2010.

Jersey Mike's offers freshly sliced and freshly grilled subs on bread baked in store. Subs can be paired with sides, drinks and desserts. Online ordering is available for takeout and curbside pickup, and delivery can be requested through the Jersey Mike’s app or third-party delivery partners. To date, there are more than 2,300 Jersey Mike's locations open around the U.S.
