Jollibee Opening First Northern Virginia Location In June

LINCOLNIA, VA — Filipino delights like fried chicken and spaghetti are coming to Northern Virginia. The Northern Virginia region's first Jollibee will open in the Lincolnia area just outside Alexandria city limits.

The opening for the 4809 Beauregard Street, Alexandria location was moved to June 26 to 28. On those three dates, the first 100 customers will get a buy one, get one chicken sandwich coupon valid from July 1 to Aug. 31, as well as a limited edition Jollibee tote bag with a purchase of $20 or more. The location will include a drive-thru with dine-in and takeout available.

Jollibee first opened in the Philippines and now has thousands of locations, including 70 in North America. The fast food chain is known for its Chickenjoy fried chicken, available in buckets or meals with sides and served with a side of gravy. Other menu items are the Jolly spaghetti made with a sweet sauce, ham, ground meat and hot dog; Palabok Fiesta with noodles, garlic sauce, sauteed pork, shrimp and egg; and burger steak with mushroom gravy. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, kids meals, sides and peach mango pie round out the menu.

Jollibee has already been introduced to the DC region with a Wheaton, Maryland location. A Chantilly location is also being planned, according to FFXnow.
