A new video released Wednesday by Prince William County Police shows a missing Alexandria woman on Sunday, April 17 — three days before her car was found near her workplace in Woodbridge.

The family of Lizeth Yadira Lopez, 36, of Alexandria, reported her missing to Alexandria Police on Tuesday, April 19.

Officers found her car a day later, Wednesday, April 20, near Pond Run Drive in Woodbridge, but searches of the area over the past week have not helped locate Lopez.

Pond Run Drive, where car was found last Wednesday, April 20:

Detectives from Prince William County Police learned that Lopez left a CVS store Sunday, April 17 around 9 p.m. at Touchstone Circle:

Police have released video of her entering the store:

The last known contact with Lopez was one hour later.

On Friday, April 22, members of the Prince William County Police and Fairfax County Police search and rescue teams, along with helicopter assistance and canines from the Fairfax County Fire Department and Virginia State Police, searched the area near where Lopez’s car was found.

"After an extensive search of the wooded areas near that location, nothing of note was found," according to a PWCPD statement. Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency line at 703-792-6500. Lopez is described as a Hispanic female standing 5'4” tall and weighing 118 pounds.
