Area residents flocked to Cameron Run Regional Park Saturday for the Acacia Federal Rock and Stroll to End Homelessness.
Participants enjoyed a barbecue lunch, zumba, music and competitions for a corn hole toss, hula-hooping and jump-roping. The day began with a mini-walk to raise awareness about homelessness in Northern Virginia.
Beneficiary organizations were ALIVE!, the Arlington-Alexandria Coalition for the Homeless, Community Lodgings, New Hope Housing and Wesley Housing.
