Alexandria Symphony Orchestra  —  House Volunteers

Alexandria Tutoring Consortium (ATC)  —  Tutors

Need dependable volunteers to tutor kindergarteners and first graders in literacy skills in Alexandria public schools.  Must work once or twice a week through May. Training and lesson plans provided.  Contact: Gwen Mullen, 703-549-6670 Ext. 119 or email atc@opmh.org. 

Child & Family Network Centers (CFNC)  —  Classroom Volunteer

Volunteers may read to children, play a musical instrument, plan a special activity with help from the teacher, and perform other activities. Monday – Friday, 9am-3pm, during  the school year. Friendly Visitor Program through Senior Services of Alexandria  — Delivery Volunteers and Teams

Islamic Relief USA — Data Entry Volunteer

Meals on Wheels through Senior Services of Alexandria  —  Delivery Volunteers and Teams

T.C. Williams International Network  —  In Classroom Tutors

Volunteers are needed to assist students/language learners during their classes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to become proficient in English with the subject matter.
