1 Killed, 1 Injured In Shooting In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — One man was killed and another was injured in connection with a shooting Saturday night in Woodbridge, according to police.

Officers responded at 7 p.m. to the 13700 block of Telegraph Road, where they found a 35-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said, adding the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 27-year-old man who was hurt in the incident ran from the scene and was found at a nearby restaurant, according to police, who said he was taken to an area hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

“The initial investigation revealed the 35-year-old victim was in the above area and was in an argument with two unknown males prior to the shooting,” the Prince William County Police Department said in a news release Sunday morning. “This incident does not appear random.”
