13-Year-Old Girl Strangles Classmate In Dumfries: Police
A 13-year-old girl was arrested after assaulting two classmates—strangling one of them—at a middle school in Dumfries, say PWC Police.

DUMFRIES, VA—A 13-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday, March 26, after assaulting two classmates—strangling one of them—the day before in Potomac Middle School at 3130 Panther Pride Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Her case is being handled by juvenile court services.
On Tuesday, the School Resource Officer was notified about the incident. An investigation found that at the end of the school day on March 25, the girl "wrapped her arm around the neck" of a 14-year-old boy during an altercation. Other students intervened to break up the fight.
But the girl turned on one of the peacekeepers, a 14-year-old girl, and put both hands around her neck. They eventually separated, and the 14-year-old was treated for minor injuries. The investigation followed and wound up with the girl's arrest.
