2 Woodbridge Shootings Linked To Suspect; Arrest Made: Police
A suspect linked to two shootings in Woodbridge has been arrested and charged. One of the shootings involved an injury.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A suspect linked to two Woodbridge shootings was arrested Wednesday, according to Prince William County Police. One of the two shootings involved an injury.
Police say Taylohn Jashaud Andrews, 19, of no fixed address, is the suspect behind shootings November 15, 2024 and May 2, 2025 in the Woodbridge 22191 ZIP code. A U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Andrews in Stafford County. Andrews was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, shooting into a residential dwelling, and reckless handling of a firearm.
The May 2 shooting happened at the Woodbridge Station Apartments in the 1500 block of Ranger Loop. Police say a man handling a gun fired a round. The shots entered an apartment through the ceiling and lodged into the kitchen floor of an apartment. There were no injuries or additional property damage.

Police were initially unable to locate Andrews after obtaining arrest warrants, and he was connected to another shooting on Nov. 14, 2024. The November 2024 shooting happened at the Summerhouse II Condos in the 1000 block of Gardenview Loop. Officers found an 18-year-old man who was shot in the lower body in the parking lot. The man was taken to the hospital and had non-life-threatening injuries.
A police investigation determined an altercation likely happened in a nearby residence. Police found a shell casing and marijuana in the residence.
