ACTS Received Funds for Suicide Helpline
Stafford Hospital Board of Trustees granted a large sum to the area non-profit.

From Action in Community Through Service:
Suicide is not painless … it impacts individuals and communities. One of the goals of ACTS Helpline is to help create a suicide safer community by responding to individuals in crisis, providing prevention and intervention training, and reaching out to those whose lives have been impacted by suicide.
Helpline recognizes the importance of responding to families and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. For the past 19 years Helpline has offered Surviving After Suicide (SAS), a support group that offers a safe, non-judgmental, environment to those individuals bereaved by suicide.
