Bank Robber Sought In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Woodbridge Friday morning, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—Authorities are looking for a man who robbed the United Bank at 13870 Smoketown Road Friday morning, according to Prince William County Police. He's described as being light skinned, around 40 years old, 5-8 to 6-0 with an average build. He was wearing a beige jacket, blue jeans with an orange cloth covering his hand.

Around 9:15 p.m., police went to the bank for a reported robbery. They found that an unknown man entered the bank, approached the teller counter, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A police helicopter and K-9 unit searched the area to no avail. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
