Belmont Bay Rehab & Healthcare Introduces Cardiac Care Program
Specialist Overseeing New Initiative in Woodbridge, Va.

Belmont Bay Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Woodbridge has launched a Cardiac Care program under the direction of cardiologist Mohammad Ghazvini, MD. Located at 14906 Richmond Highway, the 120-bed skilled nursing facility provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care.
Belmont Bay’s cardiac rehab services focus on promoting independence and quality of life through reducing symptoms and decreasing disability in heart patients. Cardiac rehab is designed to assist individuals suffering from challenging or life-threatening heart conditions, including those recovering from a cardiac event or surgical procedure, and those at risk for cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Ghazvini is board certified in adult cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He possesses 30 years of medical experience and serves as the director of invasive cardiac electrophysiology at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. He is affiliated with Nova Cardiovascular Care.

In addition to consults with Dr. Ghazvini and other board-certified specialists, Belmont Bay cardiac patients benefit from 24/7 access to laboratory and radiology services and a range of therapies, as prescribed. The program features comprehensive education and training for patients and their families.
