Breezy Ridge Way Permit Fees to Be Waived

Condominium residents still displaced from flooding damage.

Ten units were displaced as a result of a collapsed retaining wall in the condominium community off of Breezy Ridge Way Sept. 8 during massive rains.

Tuesday, the Board of County Supervisors voted to waive plan and permit fees in order to rebuild the failed retaining wall. Heavy rains on Sept. 8 that caused flooding in the Holly Acres mobile home community also brought down a portion of a retaining wall that threated to inch up under decks and into people's homes.

Woodbridge district supervisor Frank Principi said in Tuesday's meeting that the residents were still displaced from the condominiums.
