Broken-Down Truck Blocks I-95 Lanes Near Route 123

VDOT said lane closures were in place on southbound I-95 as evening rush hour was getting underway.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Interstate 95 travelers are facing more delays than usual due to a disabled tractor-trailer Wednesday evening.

The broken down truck is located at the 161.7 mile marker on southbound I-95 just north of Route 123. The Virginia Department of Transportation says three right lanes are blocked, and backups extend about six miles.

As of 4:10 p.m., traffic cameras showed three lanes getting by, as the right shoulder and right lane were closed.
